Our Client has an interesting Compliance Officer position available.

Candidate Attributes:

Ability to work under pressure and with little/no supervision.
Ability to think, consider and make decisions independently, irrelevant of internal/external pressures
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally to the company
Strong organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task, manage own workload, and work to and coordinate within tight deadlines
Commitment to the delivery of highest client service standards to the point of the role becoming more of a vocation than purely an employed role
Possess a strong technical knowledge base and a wide range of experience
Ability to assume the responsibilities associated with a managerial role
Commitment to and constantly support board/ management decisions
•Ability to make constructive suggestions on internal and external matters

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Achievement of personal financial objectives
Responsibility for compliance requirements and ensure that high corporate governance standards are applied at all times
Knowledge of clients and entities including UBOs, intermediaries and activities
Hold the regulatory positions of Compliance Officer, MLCO and MLRO
Assume responsibility for a training programmes for key staff to achieve CPD targets
Promote a compliance culture
Regular reporting to the Board
Draft and monitor an annual Compliance Monitoring Programme
Monitor a Periodic Review Programme for client structures
Achieve personal development objectives which are: – to attend training courses as are required to ensure that training and CPD records are kept fully up to date.
Provide input on strategic matters
To provide advice, guidance and assistance in relation to external matters as requested by the Board
