Brand Marketing Manager – Food Franchises

This position is to be the brand guardian for several, well know food brands and to provide marketing support for the franchise brand and to support the Brand Marketing Manager with social media.

There will be responsibility for ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under each brand, resonates with current and potential customers and are compliant with the Franchise Agreements held by the franchisee.

This is a pivotal role, which holds overall responsibility for developing and managing the relationship with the Brand Director for Food Franchise, Managing Director for the brands and the Head of Marketing, to ensure all proposed activities align with the franchise agreement, brand direction, strategies and channels.

Key responsibilities

Management of the Marketing budget for well known brands in Jersey and Guernsey
To work closely with the Food Brand Marketing Manager and graphic designer in the delivery of social media posts
To meet with the Brand Director for Food Franchise to understand the business priorities
Produce quarterly detailed Keynote presentation for review of activity for previous quarter including analysis of successes and opportunities
In sole charge of a the cycle of campaign planning, execution, submission and review
Drive sales through exploiting opportunities, producing a business case to appeal for funding where necessary
Work with the Graphic Designer to ensure adherence with strict brand guidelines
Maintain efficient and responsive working relationships with the UK Marketing Managers for the brands
Research, compose and manage all social media content including composition and execution of competitions
To take the UK social media content for the brands and adapt the wording of the posts so that it is tailored to Jersey, Guernsey
Conduct monthly social media and email statistic reports, detailing the number of post and their engagement
Planning and execution for all product launches and events for Cornish Bakery, Costa, Burger King, Card Factory and Sandpiper, including advertisement of new services/range of products through digital, press and radio
Manage the delivery of all Point of Sale, including the briefing of design work of graphics and execution of store decor and pricing signage, if not provided by the UK franchise
Produce templates and artwork for all email campaigns and promotional offers through MailChimp
Explore and execute new opportunities to promote brands on both Islands, such as bus advertising and digital screen
To promote the franchisee Community initiatives through Facebook and the Sandpiper Website.

Core Skills Required

Marketing, sponsorship and event management
Experience of leading and managing Digital, Social, Press and Radio campaigns
Experience in managing websites, including content management, notably video
Understanding of consumer needs and behaviour
Strong analytical ability – analyse data, develop insights
Presentation skills
