They are seeking an experienced Risk/Compliance professional to join them, this client focuses on their people as they appreciate that their people are their greatest assest

Proactive and effective management and review of Group Compliance policies and procedures and best practices to support strategy and global business;
Collaborate cross-functionally concerning decision-making responsibility for policy and procedure management;
Maintenance and enhancements to Group Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP)
Analysing risk data and monitoring output; ability to interpret and summarise this into periodic reports for Group ExCo, Audit and Risk Committee and the Group Board;
Liaison with Regional Compliance Directors in relation to material matters arising from CMP, internal / external audit, regulatory inspections;
Manage escalation of material regulatory issues / CDD/AML/CFT queries affecting the business;
Support the development of Ethics and Compliance awareness campaigns;
Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout business
Relevant Experience and Skills
Thorough knowledge of risk best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements
Thorough knowledge of risk related policies, procedures, and internal controls
Strong business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Solid understanding of the key deliverables required by diverse regulatory
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
Excellent and effective communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow
Good inter-personal skills including the provision of training/imparting knowledge
Ability to work under minimal supervision and prioritise workload using good judgment, while balancing the need for an immediate response with accuracy and completeness of information
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
Ability to work cross-functionally / cross-border in a team environment
Systems aptitude
10 years + Risk and/or Compliance experience
