Our client is an international and award-winning corporate, private client and fund administration business. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Client Accountant to prepare accounts and maintain ledgers for trusts and companies under administration in-house.

Roles at this level provide professional advice and/or support, directly or indirectly to team based upon a full understanding of a technical, professional or specialised field. They plan and ensure progress within established procedures and clearly defined Company policy. They are expected to identify gaps in information, and conduct analyses to solve/resolve problems and issues with short-term consequences. They put forward recommendations on managing more complex situations. Individuals are responsible for planning and organising their own work. There is a need for liaison and the co-ordination of activities across a number of subsections of the Company. The work involves encountering changing priorities and differing situations.

Principal Accountabilities: –

• To keep banking records up to date;
• To prepare accounts to deadlines;
• To produce accurate bookkeeping records;
• To ensure that all information about a client’s financial affairs are accurate;
• To maintain client confidentiality;
• To ensure accounts are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;
• To check for any financial irregularities;
• To maintain up to date accounts for client companies and trusts;
• To ensure all financial records are safely stored and access to old records is readily available.
