Our client is an independent financial services provider who provides global administration, trustee, accounting, and management and governance solutions. They are looking for a Senior Manager to join their Compliance team to assist and support with the development and promotion of their compliance strategy and framework within the Company.

The ideal candidate will have a table 4 qualification, comprehensive knowledge of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 and associated Orders and Codes of Practice for Trust Company Business and a detailed understanding of Risk Management.

Requirements

Essential –

• Table 4 qualification
• Relevant Compliance qualifications
• 10 years’ relevant finance industry experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the compliance environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of the AML Legislation and the AML Handbook
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 and associated Orders and Codes of Practice for Trust Company Business
• A detailed knowledge and understanding of the local finance industry and regulatory requirements in which we operate
• A detailed understanding of Risk Management
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Skills and Abilities
• Persuading and influencing
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to train and educate all levels of staff
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate to commercial application
• Ability to assimilate complex information and project manage
• Ability to support the definition of strategy and develop policy, procedures and processes
