Our client is a Jersey based IT Managed and Cloud Services provider. They build and maintain their own cloud infrastructure so their solutions are control assured and they hold their client data within their own infrastructure.

They are seeking a driven candidate with strong technical and customer relationship management skills to fill a vacant position as a Service Help Desk Engineer.

The profile:

Excellent telephone manner and client handling skills
Well organised
Able to work within a team or to self manage depending on case needs
Motivated to improve existing technical skills
High aptitude for learning
Pro-active
Open to change
Willingness to use and master new technologies

Required Technical Skills:

Microsoft Desktop – all versions
Familiarity with operating computers using the command line
Installing and troubleshooting Desktop Applications including Microsoft Office, internet browsers – Chrome, IE Edge, Firefox, Adobe
Trouble shooting various line of business applications
Trouble shooting hardware and peripherals (printers/monitors/card readers)

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate and ongoing training and development will also be supported.
