Our client is currently looking for a Client Accountant.

Principal Responsibilities –

To produce accurate financial statements that reflects a true and fair picture of entities administered by the organisation.

The position holder must have sufficient experience & knowledge to enable them to complete the accounts without the need for referral on accounting issues.

Competencies required –

The account holder will be expected to:

• Have a good sound knowledge and understanding of trust and company accounting policies and be able to construct Financial Statements utilising this knowledge.
• Have good relevant experience of preparing accounts for Trusts and Companies.
• Be accurate and have an excellent attention to detail.
• Produce financial statements to strict deadlines.
• Identify and communicate to the Finance Manager any problem areas or concerns which the position holder may identify when producing Financial Statements.
• Ability to use initiative.

Qualifications –

• A professional qualification such as AAT or similar would be an advantage, but suitable candidates may be qualified through relevant or similar industry experience.

Detailed job schedule –

• Preparation of trust and company financial statements relating to the underlying clients of the organisation.
• Be a team player who works well and effectively with other personnel.
• Adherence to deadlines.
• Compliance with responsibilities set out in the organisation’s procedures manual in general and the trustee and corporate services operational section in particular.
• Such other duties as the jobholder’s peers may reasonably request.
