Our client delivers a comprehensive range of legal services to clients locally and around the globe. It is a really exciting time to join, as they are going through a period of ambitious growth. They are looking for an Associate Director of Group HR Services.

Overall Role Purpose:

This role has responsibility for leading and managing the delivery of Group HR services to Group employees across all jurisdictions, and leading the operational HR team. Responsibility for developing frameworks, establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), governing service delivery, establishing processes, maintaining performance and standards, delivering management information and key business insights, setting and measuring employee experience, and providing central co-ordination and reporting of HR projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Manage the operational HR team who carry out the day to day back office function of HR across all international jurisdictions.
• Create and drive the strategy for Group HR Delivery to optimise service delivery.
• Maintain operational processes and control procedures to ensure they are compliant with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure that HR processes are adhered to across all jurisdictions. Ensure consistency and compliance.
• Develop clear service level standards for HR responses to the wider business and ensure service standards are consistently met.
• Lead a strategic review of all HR processes, make improvements, leveraging technology where possible.
• Drive operational optimisation through the development and implementation of trend analysis and pertinent data that drives process improvement within Group HR.
• Responsibility for setting and measuring employee experience, conducting various employee surveys to inform HR MI data.
• Develop and report on HR and people related metrics. Be responsible for the delivery.
• Manage key annual HR processes including benefits renewals, budget preparation and monitoring, pay reviews and promotion process.
• Own and develop expertise on the core people systems in order to be an advocate and trainer of them.
• Oversee HR and Payroll record keeping, ensuring the accurate recording of personal, employment and payroll information.
• Responsible for the effective performance management and development of the team.
• Work closely with HR Leadership to develop effective frameworks aligned to the business plan.
• Coordinate HR projects and initiatives, and report on progress to the wider business.
• Ensure all policies are followed and appropriate paperwork is prepared eg. maternity letters, study leave contracts, references, leaver processes etc.
• Ensure all relationship driven enquiries are escalated to the People and Culture team.

The People and Culture team are responsible for recruitment, training, relocations, policy guidance to managers, developing effective teams, communications, coaching and face to face support of managers and employees.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in HR, Business, Organisational Psychology or related area

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Proven HR experience
• Well organised; accuracy and attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of local employment legislation
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical with proven experience of dealing with complex data
• Able to work independently, with multiple priorities and within a team to achieve results
• Able to maintain confidentiality – diplomacy and discretion
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills.
