Assistant Manager – Real Estate

Our client is a leading global provider of alternative asset and corporate administration services delivering tailored fiduciary services to a highly valued international client base through a global network of regulated businesses within 19 leading financial jurisdictions.

Role summary:

This role will report to a Senior Manager in Jersey responsible for overseeing administration obligations and the management of client relationships to support the growing team, with a particular focus on the development of client relationships, the underlying team and providing the highest quality of customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Working within a specialised services team on all aspects of administration to ensure the team and client servicing aspects are run efficiently;
• Working with team managers to manage and supervise a small number of administrators who would typically be studying towards professional qualifications. Supervise the administrators within the team, including mentoring, training and development;
• Preparation and implementation of entity customer specific procedures in relation to the administration and reporting requirements;
• Act as primary point of contact with auditors in respect of the planning and coordination of the Jersey audits
• Ensuring reporting complies with entity and statutory requirements;
• Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines;
• Be able to provide sound, quality and technical guidance to clients and more junior administrators within the team;
• Monitor WIP against agreed budgets and report variances to the relevant client director;
• Establish, build and maintain strong relationships and networks with both internal, cross jurisdictional and external contacts including auditors and third parties;
• Perform other duties as necessary to support the strategic development of client relationships and team development including client meetings, new business pitches and new business proposals.

Skills / experience required:

• Hold, or have substantially completed a professional ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICSA qualification;
• Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in the finance industry;
• A basic understanding of Jersey regulatory and financial reporting regime;
• Motivated and driven.
