An exciting and unique opportunity has arised for an FBO Supervisor and Health and Safety Representative to work within the aviation industry

The FBO Supervisor and Health and Safety Representative is responsible for the professional standards of the personnel under their authority, for maintaining the related aspects of the safety management system and that operations and training safety management goals are met.

The duties of the position include:
Co-Supervising and directing FBO staff on duty during assigned shifts to deliver a safe, efficient and positive customer experience in accordance with published company procedures and relevant regulations.
Supervising an exceptional client experience in all aspects of work in accordance with Company standards, achieving and maintaining the highest level of customer service standards at all times and by all members of the FBO team.
Developing and Maintaining the Ground Handling Procedures
Be a primary customer facing representative of the company when necessary. To be well presented, with impeccable conduct, conducive to providing the highest level of customer service.
Administration of customer requests, documentation and invoices.
Ensuring that all personnel under their authority participate effectively in the safety management system
Ensure a high quality of health and safety is adhered to and managed
Monitoring and advising on all safety activities that may have an impact on ground safety.
Establishing and managing the hazard identification and tracking system. Including method and risk statements for the business and 3rd parties.
Developing and maintaining a safety awareness programme.
Disseminating aircraft ground safety information, both internal and external.
Undertaking safety assurance activities and conducting periodic evaluations of the safety management system and reporting these results to management.
Monitoring the response and measuring the results of safety initiatives.
Ensuring that all items under the Carriage of Dangerous Goods is carried and maintained in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly safety checks/tasks are completed accurately and on time. Where required to liaise with the fire service. • •Lead person and management of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Organizing training and schedules thereof to ensure all staff are trained for the tasks and responsibilities they hold.
Facilities management for whole building.
