This role is to start on the 2nd September and run until Jan 2020 – the successful candidate must be able to work over the Christmas period

To undertake a variety of tasks to ensure that the company meets its regulatory requirements regarding Client Due Diligence (CDD).

Primary Responsibilities:
Ensuring there is sufficient and compliant CDD documentation in place for all Clients, Intermediaries and Platforms.
Assisting with client and management reporting / screening (Including but not limited to FinScan screening, sanction checking).
Coordinate the CDD Log by monitoring and maintaining records to ensure all clients are chased on a regular basis and correct documentation is obtained.
Within the AML/CDD monitoring ensure that the PEP’S are review in accordance with the companys standards.
Liaise with other departments as required to ensure our CDD regulatory obligations are met in a timely manner.
Understand and observe the company policies, procedures and regulatory controls over handling client financial affairs (money laundering, financial crime etc.), complaint handling and SAR.
Ensure that the electronic filing system is maintained and that all the core and relationship documents are loaded correctly.
Accurate input of client information into Navision (CRM, FDR) core system.
On boarding new clients and intermediaries you will ensure that there is sufficient and correct CDD documentation.

Experience and Qualities Required:
The individual should have at least three years’ experience of working within a finance environment and have strong knowledge of Client Due Diligence skills and have a working knowledge of Jersey’s AML/CFT Handbook.
Excellent communication skills necessary for dealing with clients, intermediaries and professional advisors by phone, fax and email.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills required to process the workload on time.
Proven ability to cope under pressure and ability to work with minimum supervision. Possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be a team player.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a high standard of numeracy and accuracy.
