Our client is offering an exciting role within their Group Tax team within their Private Client Services division.

Purpose of Job:
The role holder will be responsible for client tax compliance matters, under the supervision of the Manager/ Director, within Jersey and other offices in the organisation.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Administer and monitor client tax compliance within the timescales set and agreed, investigating and suggesting enhancements where necessary, ensuring timely and effective client care
The role holder will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of UK and Jersey Tax and have experience in one or more of the following taxes;
UK Corporation Tax
UK Personal Tax
Jersey Company and Personal Tax
Non-resident landlord scheme
Other responsibilities:
Provide guidance to the client facing teams on Jersey and UK tax matters
Prepare Tax returns and advise on any tax payment requirements in relation to clients
Involvement in tax authority enquiries where required
Check, maintain and ensure accuracy of the central diary system relevant to client tax compliance, to ensure deadlines are recorded and subsequently achieved;
Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation;
Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures;
Adhere to the organisations core values and expected behaviours;
Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
