Previous AML / risk management experience is essential as this position will support the wider team helping to drive the risk strategy forward, working closely with the business on the legal side and within our corporate services division.
Responsibilities will include running / supporting the risk function and managing the compliance function within the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious and looking for structured development where they are progress to the next level. We would envisage someone who is almost at manager level, who will likely be ready to take the next step up in c. 12 months' time.
This individual will be expected to be involved with board meetings and run risk committee meetings – sending out agendas and running of the meetings specifically.
This position would likely suit someone who is process driven and has a strong eye for detail with a drive to problem solve and get to the heart of the matter. There is a global outreach as this position covers all jurisdictions
We would also be looking for individuals who hold a relevant risk management qualification. Involvement with compliance monitoring programmes is also preferable.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential along with strong analytical skills.
