Trainee Administrator Employer and Executive Services

A trainee opportunity has arisen within the Employer and Executive Services Department, to work with a dedicated mentor on a portfolio of clients, and to work collaboratively with other members of the team to assist in the provision of trust and company administration services in accordance with regulatory requirements, service levels and company standards so as to meet with client expectations.
As part of the Trainee Administrator Programme, the successful candidate will learn and develop the necessary skills and experience to administer a portfolio of client entities. As with any role level within our business, we are dedicated to the development of all staff.

Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Work as part of a team demonstrating a positive ‘can do’ approach and sharing knowledge and workload
Develop technical knowledge relevant to client administration activities, developed through internal and external training
Work effectively and efficiently and ensure all time charged is reasonable and justified, and is entered on the time recording system on a daily basis
Meet centrally defined chargeable time requirements
Regularly familiarise yourself with LINK policies and procedures as amended from time to time
Take responsibility for the preparation of relevant documentation, compliance files and systems (Dynamics and banking systems)
Develop an understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
Take accountability in all tasks assigned, and for the quality and accuracy of own data entries
Develop an awareness of risks involved in administration activities
Develop and maintain an awareness of client requirements and expectations by liaising with, and providing feedback to agree appropriate actions
Adopt a ‘right first time’ approach
Develop an understanding of bookkeeping (double entry transactions) and the purposes of a set of financial accounts, and record all bookkeeping in a timely manner on Dynamics.

The ability to work within allocated deadlines and according to instructions and Company procedures
Clearly and appropriately communicate with colleagues, third party service providers and clients

Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook with the ability to learn other relevant systems and use of all other office equipment
