Our client is a leading global provider of alternative asset and corporate administration services delivering tailored fiduciary services to a highly valued international client base through a global network of regulated businesses within 19 leading financial jurisdictions.

This role will ensure that the activities of this global financial services group are undertaken in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements and with Group procedures. You will report to the Investor Services Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing an exceptional service to our clients. The purpose of the role is to ensure all clients due diligence meets regulatory requirements.

The role will include:

• Understand complex structures and be able to translate this into the Group CDD requirements;
• Reconciling CDD, inputting information accurately into the Group internal systems and identifying and communicating deviations to colleagues or the client;
• Ensuring that the relevant checklists and databases are kept up-to-date;
• Resolution of queries from colleagues or the client;
• Assist members in the team with queries regarding more complex structures;
• As required verifying, scanning, archiving CDD into electronic filing and hard copy storage;
• As required, complete screening (using a variety of data sources) as required by the business. Ensuring that Negative News, PEPs are brought to the attention of the relevant area.
• Escalation of issues identified to the team manager;
• You may be required to perform other duties to support the Business as may be necessary from time to time.

Skills / experience required:

• You have finance sector experience of 3 years + working within a financial environment and have knowledge of KYC/KYB and client Due Diligence.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and capable of prioritising workloads as required.
• You work in a methodical and structured way and are able to maintain high levels of accuracy even with significant increases in volumes
• Detail focused and able to easily identify deviations from agreed process or policy
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products, in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.
