Key responsibilities
Assume responsibility as the FP&A lead for Business area, assisting budget holders in managing the business and understanding the key drivers behind Company performance
Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments
Ownership of Business Area’s full year forecast, notifying key stakeholders of variances and potential solutions where appropriate
Review the accuracy of Financial Reporting as part of Finance BAU Month End process
Creation of reports to fulfil customer demand, influence change where necessary
Ad-hoc business performance reporting
Proactively reviewing the groups reporting and processes to enhance efficiency and positively impact the business decision making process
Creation of key process flow documentation

Skills / experience required
Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel
Preferably experience in SQL programming / Visual Basic (but not essential)
Accounting or part qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) qualification preferable but not essential
Problem solving and strong communication skills
Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
Good understanding of the main functions of a finance team
Business analysis and process flow experience
Experience within working in a Finance department
