Provide effective support to lawyers in relation to all court matters. Prepare court documentation and lodge this with the appropriate Court within the required timescales and that Court deadlines are adhered to. Draft routine court documentation for a wide range of legal matters.

Professional Qualifications/Education Level:
Essential:
– Literate with a good standard of written English – a minimum of Grade C in English at GCSE/O Level
– Numerate – a minimum of Grade C in Mathematics at GCSE/O Level
Desirable:
– Educated to either 'A' Level or degree standard

Skills & Experience:
Essential:
– A minimum of one year's paralegal experience
– Smart and professional with a strong work ethic
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Confident when dealing with a wide range of clients and professionals by telephone, in correspondence and face to face on routine matters
– Ability to work under pressure to achieve fixed deadlines and to be willing and able to make sound decisions whilst knowing when to seek guidance
– Excellent organisation and time management skills.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work with and for others as part of a team.
– Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software packages
Desirable:
– An analytical mind and knowledge of, or the aptitude to acquire, knowledge of local legislation
– An understanding of relevant anti-money laundering legislation
