Our Client is seeking an Analyst to provide research and analysis support on a range of tasks, assisting with specific projects, task management and research.

Responsibilites:

– Design, develop and operate models that can predict the effect of changes and provide solution based analysis and interpretation of data
– Efficiently record both qualitative and quantitative information through the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel / Word)
– Collate, compare and rationalise information
– Produce written documents and presentations (though the use of PowerPoint/Word/ Excel) including reports, policy proposals and discussion papers
– Prepare and deliver briefings on research findings
– Develop good working relationships with Departmental Managers, HR Specialists and Employee Representatives
– Maintain relationships with Payroll, IT and systems as well as contributing to the amendment, development and maintenance of systems
– Co-ordinate and supervise Research Assistants and Project Officers

Skills required:

– Education to a minimum of degree level with a strong mathematical/ statistical background
– HR/Reward/Accountancy knowledge is desirable
– Research, analytical and IT skills with the ability to interpret complex operational situations
– Excellent IT skills – particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
– Experience manipulating large databases using excel pivot tables, access or SPSS
– Capacity to build and interpret simulation models of reward practice is essential
– Ability to work undirected with excellent problem solving skills
– Excellent communication skills
– Strong report writing and presentation skills
– Demonstrative organisational and project management skills
– High levels of integrity and tact with discrete communications skills in order to deal with people at all levels
