To play a key role in developing and delivering compliance and risk policy within the Family Office Trust Division, in Jersey and Switzerland (based in Jersey), interfacing with the Technical Committee where required and liaising with the group’s Risk and Compliance function, as required.

The Senior Associate position reports to the Partner of Family Office and Chairman of the Technical Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
7+ years’ experience in Financial Services Industry with a particular focus on the fiduciary sector including governance and trust administration
Experience in governance and risk management, advantageous.

SKILLS
Comprehensive knowledge of fiduciary administration and of the Jersey regulatory regime with the ability fully to understand the risk and process implications for the business. Assistance and training will be provided in respect of the applicable regime in Switzerland.
The ability to draft policy frameworks, and co-ordinating the addition of expert pieces of knowledge into these frameworks
Flexible and able to multi-task, setting appropriate priorities and adhering to deadlines.
Good IT skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and collaborate with individuals at all levels, being helpful and co-operative whilst working towards team goals
Confidence to deliver practical governance and compliance solutions balancing risk management and commercial considerations
Good communication and influencing skills
Good project management skills
Proven experience of working in a challenging and fast-moving environment, across multiple jurisdictions and with complex products
