The Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects, typically involving the development and implementation of services provided to customers, business processes and information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.

The project manager may be assigned to lead a major business change or systems development project, or to manage the on-going maintenance of a group of related business processes or systems.

Knowledge & Experience:
Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification
Accredited PRINCE practitioner
Minimum of 5 years project management experience
Minimum of 5 years experience business analysis, development and implementation of business systems
Proficient in principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. Example: PRINCE
Proficient in methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects. Examples: product/work
breakdown structures, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, conflict resolution
Familiar with automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording. Examples: PMW, Microsoft PROJECT
Familiar with techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation
Familiar with methods and techniques for delivering effective presentations and writing effective reports
