Client Accounting Manager

This role will require the management of the Corporate Client Accounting team within the Group Client Accounting Department. There will be a particular focus on ensuring the highest quality of service both to the administration teams and ultimate clients. The candidate will be required to develop and mentor the existing team members and be actively involved in the recruitment of new team members as the department grows.

The successful candidate will be a professional specialist with a high-level expertise, exercising within their particular functional area a substantial degree of independent professional responsibility and discretion, working to broad parameters and policy guidance. Work includes significant professional expertise and/or experience to develop and implement revised or new administrative, technical or professional policies and processes.

You will be expected to have significant influence upon the structure and development of the team. The work includes developing and implementing operational plans and contributing to the longer-term plans for the area to fit with broader department and group strategy.

The candidate will be client focused with exceptional organisation and communication skills.

Key attributes: –
– Professional qualification – ACA, ACCA or equivalent
– Ideally three – four years’ experience in a similar relevant capability in the finance industry
– An understanding of Jersey regulatory and financial reporting regime including UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, and Trust Accounting
– Ability to motivate and influence a team, high managerial skills
