This is an exciting time for our Security Services Team having invested over £1/2 Million in a purpose build Security Operations Centre which will service our global clients. This is a fantastic time for candidates with the right background to propel their career forward with the acquisition of skills and experience in the high demand area of Cybersecurity.

As part of the team your role will consist of responsibilities to administer, operate, and maintain various systems which focus on the security monitoring and security posture for on-site and cloud services.

Your role will be to work with customers and other architects and Security associates within the team to ensure proper dynamic evolution and evolutional maturity of our Security offerings.

• You will be required to keep up to date with emerging threats, zero day events, and industry trends.
• Perform monitoring of systems which provide protection to service systems and have the ability to respond to security alerts and events generated from these systems.
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations into security events as directed.
• Participate in the oversight of 3rd party providers of Security Managed Services to ensure business and contractual requirements are met.
• Participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval security related changes.
• Work with internal and external customers to understand project and system requirements. Provides recommendations that comply with defined and desired security principles, standards, and policies.

Network security specialists also analyse security risks and develop response procedures. Additional duties may include developing and testing software deployment tools, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

Have a good knowledge of Cisco security and firewall technologies like cisco ASA and Source fire IPS/IDS and have the ability to be quickly trained and learn new security mitigation techniques.

The candidate should have some of the following certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certifications by ISC2/Security+/Linux+ /CompTIA.
All/Any of the above certifications would be a distinct advantage.
