What is ASL Launch Pad Into Finance?
The scheme’s aim is to give undergraduates the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and exposure to the variety of roles available within the finance industry. We will find you temporary work before and during your time at university. It will give you first hand experience of the variety of roles available to you in the finance industry. This will help you to decide what area of finance and what role you may like to secure on graduation.
How does it work?
Once you have registered your interest and submitted your CV, we will interview you to find out what you are looking for in an ideal world (work every holiday, administration, customer service, etc).
We will then test your keyboard skills and obtain references for you such as school and work experience.
You will need to provide us with a copy of photographic identification such as a passport or driving license to comply with Jersey Financial Services Commission regulations.
We retype your CV in our format to include a profile based on the conversation/interview we have had with you.
CV’s are then circulated to the companies participating in the scheme.
They will phone us either with a temp booking or to arrange to meet the person/s they have selected.
Your first assignment will start!
How do I apply?
If you are interested in registering for the scheme then the first step is to submit your CV either by email or by hand to Launch Pad, ASL Personnel Selection, 13 Broad Street, St Helier, JE2 3RR.
